You Can Make
a Difference

Every act of support brings hope to families and fuels the fight against childhood cancer. Each step forward begins with someone like you.

There are many ways to help:

Make a monetary donation

Every amount matters. Whether you give once or monthly, your donation fuels lifesaving research, brings hope to families, and helps create better treatments and brighter futures. Visit our donate page to make a gift today.

Donate blood and/or platelets

Cancer patients often rely on frequent transfusions. Whether you give blood or platelets, your donation can be life-saving. Reach out to local blood banks for information or visit the American Red Cross website to find a donation opportunity near you.

Join the Bone Marrow Donor Registry

Some children with cancer will need a bone marrow transplant to survive, but a match can sometimes be hard to find. You could be that match. Joining the registry is easy: just sign up online and complete a simple cheek swab. You’ll only be contacted if you’re a potential match for someone in need. Click here to learn more or join the registry.

Spread awareness on social media

In this digital age, social media is one of the most powerful tools we have. By sharing a post or story, you help raise awareness, honor children like Cordelia, and shine a light on the urgent need for better research, funding, and support. You might end up teaching someone something new and surprising about the realities of childhood cancer, and that understanding can go farther than you think. This is how awareness grows.

Host your own fundraiser

Lemonade stands, bake sales, school events – no effort is too small when it comes to helping children with cancer. While Cordelia’s Courage Collective is awaiting official nonprofit status, you’ll be able to fundraise with us soon! In the meantime, we encourage you to support the cause through trusted partners like Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Their fundraising programs make it easy to get involved.

Donate
comfort items

Sometimes it’s the little things – a soft blanket, a new toy, a cheerful book – that bring comfort during the hardest days. Check with your local children’s hospital about donating new and unused comfort items, or help us fill care boxes for families facing childhood cancer and those carrying love through loss.

To donate items or sponsor a comfort box through Cordelia’s Courage Collective, please contact us here — we’ll guide you through the next steps with gratitude.

Honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Did you know that September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month? It’s a time to go gold, raise awareness, and take action for these kids. Whether you post on social media, wear gold, make a donation, host an event, or share a child like Cordelia’s story, your voice helps make their fight more visible.

A few ways to recognize September:

- Wear gold or promote the gold ribbon
- Share facts and stories all month long
- Host a fundraiser or awareness event
- Request that your school, business, or city acknowledge Childhood Cancer Awareness month
- Start a conversation

Show up

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for someone you care about is simply be there. Check in. Offer your time and support. If your loved one is grieving a loss, don’t disappear. Reach out on the hard days and the ordinary ones alike. You don't have to have the right words, and you don't have to fix anything. Your presence is what they'll remember most.
