Who We Are
Cordelia’s Courage Collective is the continuation of one extraordinary little girl’s light shining forward.
We believe courage
wears many faces:
the child in treatment,
the parent giving their all,
the advocate who shows up.
Courage lives in the fight,
in the aftermath,
in loss,
and in the choice to turn
pain into purpose.
This is who we are
A community carrying light, love, and courage forward – for every child who deserves better. We know the ache of hospital hallways, the weight of impossible choices, and the devastation of losing a precious, irreplaceable child to cancer.
The Collective holds a special heart for infant leukemia. We carry advocacy and research for this disease close. It is a diagnosis that desperately needs more attention, understanding, and action. Infant leukemia remains underfunded and under-researched – largely because of its rarity and low patient population. We can’t be at peace with that. More than anything, this disease is deeply personal. With this said, this is a space to uplift and drive progress for the ENTIRE childhood cancer community — because at the end of the day, we all want the same thing.
What Guides Us
We believe in a future where no child faces cancer with outdated options. Where safer, more effective treatments are not the exception, but the norm. We believe that infant leukemia – and all forms of childhood cancer – deserve more awareness, more urgency, and far more funding. We believe that every child is so much more than their diagnosis, and every family deserves hope, time, and community.
Above all, we believe in so, so many more birthdays.
The Collective exists to be a community of parents, siblings, friends, advocates, medical professionals, and anyone who believes in fighting for better. Together, we’re united by a shared determination to push for change, support funding for critical research developments, and honor every life touched by childhood cancer.
At the heart of it all are the children – the ones still fighting, the ones who survived, and the ones we’ll never stop missing.
A purpose worth fighting for.
